GET /api/gateway/svc_coingecko/market?coinId=ethereumUse a CoinGecko ID such as bitcoin, not a ticker symbol. Provider update timestamps are preserved: responses may use upstream-cached prices and are not a guarantee of real-time execution prices. No automatic retries, history, trading, onchain queries, pagination or native bundles.
Licensing comes before activation
CoinGecko distinguishes building a product with its data from reselling API access. APIary's paid multi-customer wrapper requires explicit permission under a custom agreement. Buying a standard subscription or adding credits alone does not resolve this. Contact CoinGecko about an Enterprise/custom license before purchasing a plan. Demo access is for evaluation, not a substitute for marketplace resale permission.
Before activation
- Obtain written permission for paid API redistribution and these two endpoints.
- Choose the agreed plan and store its Pro API key privately in APIARY Services.
- Review the full license and subscription costs at realistic usage, then approve retail pricing and call limits.
- Configure the private server connection and test both data calls and payment handling before activation.
Provider details checked September 11, 2026. No subscription has been purchased. Current APIary settlement uses aUSD test tokens on Robinhood Chain testnet, not real-dollar receipts. CoinGecko bills the operator separately.
