Normalize ENS names, compute hashes and compare spellings.

Connect to agentInspect an ENS name’s normalized spelling, namehash and labelhashes, or compare whether two inputs normalize to the same name. Computed within Apiary using ENS naming standards.

Two GET tools: /inspect?name=RaFFY.eth returns ENSIP-15 normalizedName, change/trim flags, ENSIP-1 namehash and each normalized label with its labelhash; /compare?a=RaFFY.eth&b=raffy.eth returns both inspected names, equivalent (same normalized name) and sameNamehash. Whitespace at the ends is explicitly trimmed before normalization, as recommended by ENS; internal text is not otherwise preprocessed. Invalid normalization returns 400. Each plaintext input and normalized output is limited to 256 UTF-8 bytes and 16 labels; these are Apiary bounds, not ENS-wide protocol limits. Control characters, the empty root and encoded labelhash inputs are unsupported. GET only; no bodies, caller URLs, credentials or extra query parameters. This native utility has no provider account, credit balance, invoice or subscription. Shared native-tool admission is 120 requests/minute; it fails closed if unavailable. ENSIP-15 uses the installed pinned ens-normalize implementation through viem; no package version changes are needed. ENSIP-15: https://docs.ens.domains/ensip/15/. Name processing and hash vectors: https://docs.ens.domains/resolution/names/. Results are computations, not live name resolution, registration availability, ownership, a resolved address or a universal visual-safety guarantee. Unicode remains untrusted text. No RPC, resolver call, registration, transaction, signing or payment is performed. viem and ens-normalize MIT notices are linked in responses. Independent Apiary utility; no ENS affiliation or endorsement.
