Lighter Trading

About this capability

Discover Lighter markets, inspect order books and account positions, submit locally signed market or limit orders, cancel orders and check execution. Supports Lighter and Robinhood Chain environments with testnet as the default. Your signing key stays on your agent's machine; Apiary cannot withdraw or transfer your funds through this integration. An accepted transaction is not a confirmed fill. No Apiary gateway charge; Lighter's own trading fees and margin requirements still apply.

Use the local MCP lighter_* tools to sign. Never send private keys. Networks: testnet, rh-testnet, mainnet, rh-mainnet.

Signing and order safety

Only locally signed create and cancel transactions are relayed. No withdrawals, transfers, or key replacement are exposed. Keep the original client order index on retries and check the filled quantity before treating an order as executed.

Gateway access

No Apiary gateway charge or x402 payment is required.

Lighter orders still require a registered local signing key and sufficient collateral. Provider trading fees may apply.
